Academics at Mang'u
A broad, rigorous curriculum across ten departments — spanning the CBC Senior School and the 8-4-4 examination classes — with distinctive strengths in science, mathematics and aviation.
Two curricula, one standard of excellence
CBC Senior School · Grade 10–12
Mang'u offers the Competency-Based Curriculum Senior School across all three pathways — STEM, Social Sciences and Arts & Sports Science — on a spine of compulsory core subjects. Grade 10 is our current CBC cohort.
8-4-4 · Form 3 & Form 4
Our continuing 8-4-4 students sit the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). Form 3 and Form 4 are current cohorts, supported with full revision materials from Form 1 to Form 4.

Aviation Technology
Mang'u was the first school in Kenya to offer Aviation Technology as an examinable subject. Learners study propulsion, thermodynamics and meteorology, and train practically at Wilson Airport and Moi Air Base.
The programme grew from the school's Air Program of the 1960s, and has been supported over the years by Kenya Airways, the Kenya Air Force, the Kenya School of Flying and other aviation partners. A retired Boeing 737 fuselage now serves as a hands-on learning hub on campus.

A deep science tradition
From being the first African school in East Africa with a full science course, Mang'u has kept the sciences at its core — three laboratories, an annual Science Congress, and an Aviation Symposium.
The Moi National Mathematics Contest, created by Mang'u teachers in 1996, has grown into a national competition that draws schools and students from across the country.
Revision materials for every class
